A message from Jasp encouraged me to fight against my natural lazyness and check on Wikipedia (and other sites) some of the informations displayed here. It leads me to correct one statement: it's only in the 1860s that a large part (around 1500 out of -probably- 4000) of the population was deported to Peru. Few came back (15?) bringing back diseases. In 1877, the population was down to 111.
